our online math community
We believe we are all math people. Math lives and breathes every day in our lives. It’s in that 2 hour afternoon block we are miraculously able to fill for our kids. It’s in that route we’re able to map that gets us through the Holland Tunnel right before there’s no getting through the Holland Tunnel. And it’s in our carving out a family room, a living room, a bedroom (and two more bedrooms) from that 150 NYC square feet we call home.
We don’t have to have that “Good Will Hunting” moment to be mathematicians or problem solvers. The fact is, we all already are.
And there’s real joy in it.

"You're saying it counts as math when I make dinner?"

We envision this website as a space where we can come together as a community and bring out that joy. This is a place where we will share the best in math games - tried, tested, and recommended by PS 321 teachers and students.
It’s a place where we will share resources like websites and apps - ones that get the seal of approval from parents and staff. It’s a place where we will share thought-provoking articles about trends in math and its place in our world.
And we hope, via this blog section, it will become a space where we can come together... sharing news and updates about the place of math in our lives and those of our children… and how we can all best find that joy.
